10 Days Tanzania safari & Zanzibar Beach
This ten-day journey pairs the great parks of northern Tanzania with a beach finish on Zanzibar. You travel through Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, then fly from the Serengeti straight to the coast rather than driving back the way you came — two very different holidays in one trip, without a wasted day in between.
Nights on safari are spent in lodges and tented camps inside or beside the parks, so you are among the wildlife at the hours that matter: out on a morning drive while the plains are still cool, and back for the last light without a long transfer at either end. Dinner is somewhere comfortable with a hot shower and a proper bed at the end of it.
What you hear from a camp in the Serengeti is the part people remember — lions calling across the dark, hyena somewhere behind the tents, birds starting up before the light does. Then the flight to Zanzibar, and the rest of the week is warm water, old town streets and nothing at all to do.

The vegetation in this park mainly consists of huge African baobab trees, scattered Acacia woodland, and a large swamp area in the south.
Tarangire River and the swamp are acting as refugee camps for the wild animals during the dry season. This park is highlighted with some of the largest elephants heard found nowhere in Africa, the rare species of animals like the Fringed-eared Oryx and the Great Kudu are also found here. We recommend an early morning game drive starting at 06:30, depart your campsite after a cup of coffee carry your breakfast box and lunch box. Early morning game drives allow you to witness the beautiful sunrise in the Serengeti with the possibility of spotting cat families on the road as they spend most of their morning time on the road avoiding the morning mist.
You can also see other predators coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lioness planning a morning ambush or eating along the road. if the Wildebeest Migration will be packed in Serengeti you will go straight to where they are and spend time with them, you can anticipate seeing some animal action like hunting, fighting, eating even hunting. Serengeti is still worth a visit with or without the Wildebeest Migration. Later on, you go back to your campsite during or before the sunset.

Supported by a yearly water supply from the highland of Ngorongoro and enough fodder the Crater supports a larger variety of wildlife including herds of wildebeest, zebra, elephant, hippos, buffalo, topi, eland & the rare black rhino.
This picturesque crater has a dense population of predators like hyenas, lions, Cheetahs, jackals, and the mysterious leopard which needs a sharp and trained eye to spot. Birds are abundant from aquatic to forest birds, with a bit of luck the so-called Big Five can be seen in the course of one day of game drives.
Apart from animals the Crater to a larger number of bird species both aquatic and terrestrial birds. You will visit the hippo pool & a large but shallow alkaline lake on the Southwest corner of the crater frequently visited by some flocks of flamingos & hippos. Very Wonderful Safari Trip
Lappet Faced Safari left a very good impression on me about Safari. When discussing the itinerary, Francisco responded very promptly and provided a lot of useful suggestions; during the entire trip, there were no extra costs or extra services. During this trip, we are very grateful to our guide Mike, who worked tirelessly to help us find animals and introduced various animal knowledge, making us have a very enjoyable trip; we also booked a ride from Arusha to Kilimanjaro For the airport shuttle bus, thank you to Noel for his superb driving skills; and thank you to Francisco for helping us book a fruit lunchbox in advance so that we did not go hungry. We were very satisfied with this trip.

The magical African Great Migration trip was very well arranged by Lappet Faced. The accommodations were very comfortable, and some places even exceeded our expectations. The experienced guide took us to appreciate the various animals on the African grasslands and discovered various surprises, including lions, cheetahs, hunting dogs, elephants, giraffes, and even the spectacular wildebeest crossing the Mara River. They also took us to appreciate the local African culture. The whole trip left a deep impression on us. Thank you Lappet Faced for your service.
