3 Day Mountain Gorilla Safari
Three days in Rwanda built around a morning with mountain gorillas. You’re met at Kigali Airport, with an optional visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre, then follow the road up to the foot of the volcanoes for the night. At first light on day two you head into Volcanoes National Park to track the gorillas; the afternoon is free, with optional excursions from the lodge paid locally. On day three you take the scenic road back to Kigali Airport.

Visit the Genocide Memorial Center (optional). Lunch in town. Follow the road as it climbs to the base of the majestic volcanoes, with spectacular views across the five peaks. Dinner and overnight at your choice of lodge (LD).

As the first light of dawn breaks through the curtain of mist clinging to the summits of Karisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyniyo, Gahinga and Muhabura, we make our way into the Parc National des Volcans in search of Mountain Gorillas. Afternoon at leisure – optional excursions available from lodge (payable locally). Dinner and overnight at lodge (BLD).
